It's that time of year again that game enthusiasts all over the world long for: SPIEL, the world's largest game fair, is about to start! Normally, thousands of enthusiastic board, card, and RPG players now would set off to Essen, where the SPIEL has been held since 1998. Four days of gaming fun, over 1,200 exhibitors from all over the world with over 1,500 game novelties on more than nearly a million square feet of exhibition space  ̶–  that was SPIEL last year in 2019. But this year, like so much because of Covid-19, everything is different. For the first time, SPIEL is taking place almost exclusively online and will be called To bring you as much gaming fun as possible, publishers are especially challenged this year to create an exciting program that will attract everyone.

That's why we at Pegasus Spiele have thought a lot about to how we can best play together with you online. And so we’ve created a colorful program in the last couple of weeks. First of all, of course, like always games will be in the spotlight. And we have a lot of them! With over 70 releases – 20 of them in English, we’re constantly publishing new games. We‘ll have something for everyone – whether you're a hardcore gamer, a group of friends who occasionally play a game, a family that does game nights with the kids, or a someone who hasn't had much to do with games before but just wanted to try something new. We’ll also be running the SalesService. This means that customers in Europe find almost 150 SPIEL releases from over 25 international publishers in our online shop. In addition, check out Pegasus Digital for 20% discount off the new Talisman Adventures role-play game at Pegasus Digital.

On Friday and Saturday there will be an English livestream from our Pegasus Spiele Studio. From 9:30 p.m. on Friday and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday to 12 pm (MEZ) there will be panels with guests like Steve Jackson, John Kovalic, Christian Petersen, Ian Lemke, and many others. In addition there will be a German program on all days. Check out the program schedule and the livestream itself can be found at

Lots of our releases, which you can look over on the website, can already be played online via Tabletopia. Just have a look at our online game library, choose a game, and you can immediately start playing digitally and for free. During, from October 22nd to 25th, you can also find numerous virtual gaming tables for titles like Bonfire, Hansa Teutonica, Kyoto and many more at our digital booth! All of these sessions are accompanied by one of our game guides. This means, you simply "sit down" at one of the tables and as soon as there are enough players, our game guide automatically starts the game and explain the rules – just like at a regular convention, but digitally!

In the breaks between games, you can also check out a live program on our Twitch channel. Look for our detailed program at
